Carved & Pierced Snowflake Candle

Add some warm candle lights to your house this winter on those cold nights.  

Process:

This candle holder was first thrown on the wheel.  Once it was leather-hard, it was trimmed and then the snowflakes were carved and holes were pierced.  Then each pierced piece was individually refined and smoothed so no sharp edges were left.  Once it was bone-dry, it was fired, glazed and then fired again for this finished product.
