Hummingbird Feeder: White with 3 flowers and Gold Accents

These hummingbird feeders are made to attract hummingbirds to your property.  Please keep in mind, this feeder should go in the shade so the contents do not heat up in the sun.  If you have never had hummingbirds at your property, it is best to set this up mid April when they first migrate back and are looking for a food source.

PROCESS:

This feeder was thrown on the wheel using speckled clay.  Then a top was thrown to fit on top of the feeder. Once both were dry enough, they were  trimmed and carved.  The flowers were formed and then attached.  The patterns and holes were carved and pierced in.  After it was bone dry, it was bisque fired, then glazed, and fired again.  Gold luster was added and then fired again to this finished product.
