This mug was thrown on the wheel.Once dry enough, it was trimmed and the handle was formed and attached. This pieces was glazed on the outside with underglaze and the snowflake designs were carved into the clay. After it was bone dry, it was bisque fired, then glazed and fired again to this finished product.
