Garlic Graters

Garlic Graters.

Each piece is thrown on the wheel and then altered and trimmed.

Decorated with slips, underglazes and glaze.  The petals are carved using a technique called sgraffito.  The grater part is made by slip that is individually placed.  

They were fired once bone dry, then glazed and fired one last time for the final result.

These are dishwasher, microwave and oven safe.
