Special new Santa design! The perfect mug for you or the kids to use when you come in from a cold day in the snow.
PROCESS:
This mug was thrown on the wheel.Once dry enough, it was trimmed and the handle was formed and attached. Then the colors were painted on with underglaze and the Santa sleigh, tree and star design was carved. After it was bone dry, it was bisque fired, then black underglaze was applied over the carving. Once dry, a clear coat of glaze was applied & then the mug was fired one last time to this finished product.
