This Oil Pourer was made on the potter's wheel out of speckled stoneware, and the thumb indent was added. Once it was leather hard, it was trimmed and painted with green underglaze. The leaf pattern was then carefully carved into the clay. It was fired once, glazed and then fired again for this finished product.

This piece is made with lead-free glazes that are food and dishwasher safe, although handwashing is always recommended.
