PROCESS:
This luminary was thrown on the wheel using speckled clay. Once dry enough, it was trimmed, pierced, carved and slip was added for the dots. After it was bone dry, it was bisque fired, then glazed, and fired again to this finished product. The plate to hold the candle was also thrown on the wheel, trimmed, fired, glazed and then fired again. Last touch, added gold luster on the small dots and fired one more time for the finished product.
